10/17/24 – RAC 14 Year Anniversary Celebration and Business Mixer hosted by Black Caviar Restaurant
The RAC Anniversary Celebration and Business Mixer was a huge success. From old-time members of 14 years… to members who recently joined… to guests joining us for the first time…. it was a celebration to remember. Guests enjoyed an incredible night of chilled wine, delicious food and the beautiful atmosphere of Black Caviar Restaurant. A huge thank you to Black Caviar Restaurant for their hospitality and truly making it a memorable night.
08/15/24 – RAC Business Mixer With a Twist hosted by VK Dance Arena
Who says you can’t mix a little dancing with business networking? The RAC Business Mixer with a Twist was a huge success. Thanks to VK Dance Arena and Mr. Charisma, otherwise known as Victor Kanevsky, our members and guests had an amazing night! Glasses of champagne, tasty appetizers, a little dancing and of course, a night of mingling with amazing business professionals. There’s no better way to network and exchange business cards, than over a little ballroom dancing. A special surprise was learning the Tango and enjoying an incredible performance by some of the VK Dance students! Thank you Victor and VK Dance for an unforgettable night! We can’t wait to do it again!

05/15/24 – RAC “Diamonds & Caviar” Business Mixer hosted by Diamonds Direct with Special Event Partner: Caviar Bazar
With an event name like “DIAMONDS & CAVIAR” you just knew it had to be good! RAC’s latest Business Mixer was a huge success! It was an incredible night filled with many RAC members and friends; even ones we haven’t seen in many years. The event took place at the luxurious, Diamonds Direct boutique in Aventura, Florida. Guests marveled at the spectacular diamonds and fine jewelry. Who couldn’t use a little extra sparkle in their life? Members and guests tried on some beautiful pieces and a few lucky guests went home with a pretty little bag tied with a ribbon.

with Special Event Partners: Svet Florida and Cabiar Bazar
KISS THE COOK!!! Chef Pablo was definitely the talk of the night! This unique event was a RAC Business Mixer with a twist! The venue was a beautiful culinary school located in Miami and specializing in healthy, real food. RAC members and guests mixed and mingled while enjoying chilled wines, exquisite hors d’oeuvres and the beautiful atmosphere. As a special treat, Chef Pablo wowed guests with a short culinary presentation on how to make a scrumptious mushroom bruschetta. He made it look so easy! A very special thank you to The Real Food Academy for their warm hospitality and for hosting this special event! This is the perfect place for teambuilding events, birthday parties, date night or a night out with friends.
03/10/24 – RAC Special Sunday Brunch Celebrating International Women's Day Hosted by Terrazas at Hyde
On March 8th, women around the world celebrated International Women’s Day in recognition of the tremendous social, political and economic achievements women have made. Through history, women have been empowered to be better, achieve more, climb ladders and break glass ceilings. The courage, determination and strength of women has led them to a time they can be proud of. With each century, decade, year and day; women are continuing to make strides. Whether they are a daughter, a sister, a wife, or a mother, women understand how important it is to set the right example for the next generation of women to reach new levels of success in business and family. Together we pave the road for the next generation of women to reach higher.
02/15/24 – RAC Business Mixer Hosted by Perl by Chef IP
Business networking was in full swing when RAC members, colleagues and friends joined together at one of the most talked about restaurants to hit South Florida. Perl by Chef IP wowed guests with their hand-crafted cocktails and exquisite selection of small bites from their incredible menu. A very special thank you to Isaac Perlman, their renowned chef and everyone at Perl for welcoming us with such warm and gracious hospitality.
01/27/24 – RAC Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening Celebration of Euroland
Magical is the only way to describe Euroland; the largest European market in Florida that recently opened it’s doors in Deerfield Beach. On January 27, 2024, well over 500 guests joined together to celebrate the grand opening of Euroland with a ribbon cutting ceremony, chilled champagne, exquisite buffet of some favorite eastern European dishes, kids fun zone with face painting, live music, entertainment and extravagant raffle prizes ranging from coffee makers to large screen tv’s. The grand opening was a roaring success and Euroland spared no expense in welcoming guests to their beautiful new store. Euroland will undoubtedly become a local favorite and shopping destination for the best European foods. A very special thank you to the City Commissioners and Redevelopment Project Coordinator from the City of Deerfield Beach for joining us for this momentous occasion.

CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAYS ON A ROOFTOP WITH OCEANVIEWS. What could be better than networking with amazing business professionals with a backdrop of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. On December 7, many of the who’s who in South Florida gathered to celebrate the holidays, reminisce about the incredible year we have had together and toasted to the future of our success. Members and colleagues were in a festive mood, enjoying the evening with old friends, meeting new ones and expanding business connections. RAC has not only been a tremendous source of new business and exposure for local businesses but many have found long- time friendships with people they met at RAC Events.

It was another amazing event among great friends and business professionals! Since the Russian-speaking population in South Florida is vast and distributed among the tri-counties, our Fort Lauderdale events have become quite popular! A few years back, Casa Calabria hosted a RAC Business Mixer and it was a huge hit! Members and friends loved the location, food, drinks and atmosphere of this authentic Italian restaurant located on the beach! Casa Calabria, once again, proved this was the perfect place to meet for delicious food and drinks, nice music and of course the spectacular ocean view. If you haven’t been to Casa Calabria, you are missing something truly special! Mamma’s Southern Italian recipes is what makes this place a local favorite!

08/10/23 – RAC “Dance” Business Mixer hosted by VK Dance Arena
Networking has never been this much fun before! Despite the pouring rain and heavy, rush-hour traffic, the RAC “Dance” Business Mixer was a huge success. Although some could not make it due to flooding and the bad storm; those who made it, had an incredible time! Thanks to VK Dance Arena, our members and guests put their dancing shoes on, let their hair down and had a little fun on the dance floor. There’s no better way to network and exchange business cards, than over a little ballroom dancing. Guests enjoyed a glass of champagne, delicious appetizers, a beautiful performance by VK Dance and of course the all-time favorite, Merengue Dance Class.

It was another amazing event among great friends and business professionals! Since the Russian-speaking population in South Florida is vast and distributed among the tri-counties, our Fort Lauderdale events have become quite popular! Askaneli is a stunningly beautiful restaurant located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, serving authentic Georgian cuisine and was the perfect place for a RAC Business Mixer. Our members and friends enjoyed a beautiful evening with delicious food, chilled champagne, nice music and the lavish décor and atmosphere of Askaneli.
05/18/23 – RAC Business Mixed Hosted by PlugIn Karaoke
There’s nothing more fun than rocking out to your favorite tunes with colleagues and friends. Whether we were singing center stage, helping out with background vocals or simply laughing and having a great time, RAC’s “Karaoke” Business Mixer was a blast! PlugIn Karaoke was the perfect spot to relax, unwind and have an amazing time singing your favorite songs. A huge thank you to PlugIn Karaoke for welcoming RAC members and friends to their state-of-the-art karaoke club. While everyone was expecting great fun with Karaoke, one of the most unexpected surprises of the evening was the food. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious and the chicken and waffles was one of the best in South Florida.

This Italian "Town Square" concept on Las Olas Boulevard, comprised of distinct themes throughout the restaurant grounds, has become one of our favorite locations.

02/10/22 - RAC Business Mixer hosted by Bamboo Beach Club and Tiki Bar
Russian American Chamber of South Florida kicked off 2022 with their first event of the year at Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar right on Fort Lauderdale Beach! For the first time ever, RAC had a dress down event with shorts, t-shirts, jeans and beachwear. It was a kick back, relax and unwind kind of event. It was great to see old time members and friends and also meet some first timers who joined us for a night of business networking. The breathtaking view was the perfect backdrop for this amazing event for business professionals.
12/9/21 – RAC Local Government Meet & Greet Reception and Holiday Celebration hosted by Coffey Burlington and AD Mortgage. Co-hosted by Tatiana Restaurant.
A MOMENTOUS EVENT took place on December 9th when Local Government Leaders came together to establish relationships with the growing Russian Speaking American community in South Florida. Our distinguished guests included public officials who are currently in office as well as those running for future elections on the city, county and state level. 11/18/21 - RAC Business Mixer hosted by Tokyo Sushi
It was another incredible Russian-Speaking American Chamber of South Florida (“RAC”) networking event! Business professionals gathered together to promote their companies and expand their referral sources. Despite the rain and traffic, the event was a great success. Besides the great networking opportunity, the talk of the night was how delicious the sushi was. Not only were guests surprised at how this small, quaint sushi place located on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale, had some of the best and freshest sushi they ever tasted, but they were shocked to learn that Tokyo Sushi was owned and operated by a Belarusian family.
Tokyo Sushi went out of their way welcome guests with an over-abundance of mouthwatering food including a soup station, oysters, sushi, specialty rolls, sake, wine, champagne and more.

A BAD HAIR DAY DIDN’T SPOIL THE FUN!! Not even a big rain storm or heavy winds could keep our members and friends away from the RAC Business Mixer hosted by Terrazas at Hyde. Due to the weather, the event was initially moved indoors but as soon as the weather cleared up, guests were thrilled to move outdoors to 9th Floor Rooftop and enjoy the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. The breathtaking view was the perfect backdrop for this amazing event for business professionals. The January event at Farrey’s has become an annual tradition and members look forward to kicking off the year with a little sparkle at one of everyone’s favorite event venues. On December 12th, the red carpet was sizzling with the beautiful people of South Florida wearing the latest designers and fashion trends. Nobody celebrates the holidays in style better than Lexus! This unforgettable night could only be described as the event of the season!!! The Lexus International Food & Wine Holiday Gala co-hosted by Lexus of North Miami and Lexus of Pembroke Pines has become the annual celebration people look forward to all year! Our dear members and friends lined up for their moment to strike a pose and shine on the red carpet with the paparazzi and enjoyed exquisite international food, handcrafted cocktails and the display of luxurious Lexus vehicles

Owners and managers of local, South Florida businesses came together for another amazing RAC Business Mixer. This special event took place at Juniper on the Water which is one of the best kept secrets in the area. The elegant atmosphere, live music, delicious food and tantalizing cocktails were only a few of the reasons why guests were happy to discovery this local hot spot. Located on South Ocean Drive, with expansive views of the intracoastal, makes Juniper on the Water, the ideal spot for a night of romance, a casual meeting with friends, a beautiful spot for Sunday brunch and, of course, a RAC Business Mixer.

Everyone agreed the gourmet hors d’oeuvres were something you would expect at a high-end restaurant and their tuna tartar was one of the best in South Florida.

Due to the requests of many members and guests, this month’s RAC Business Mixer took place in Fort Lauderdale to accommodate our friends in Palm Beach and Broward County. The Second Annual Russian Heritage Celebration Weekend took place on May 18 and May 19, 2019. Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s event, the City of Sunny Isles Beach decided to make the celebration an annual tradition. The City of Sunny Isles Beach is a small paradise lined with magnificent high rises and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west. With this much beauty all in one city, it’s no wonder the Russian speaking population has an affinity to this prestigious zip code. We are grateful to the City of Sunny Isles Beach for once again hosting this two-day special celebration to honor the many Russian speaking people who live in the community and the contributions they make to South Florida.

Those visiting the Apothecary 330 for the first time were in for a treat, as this is not your typical bar in South Florida. It starts with a mystery because unless you’ve been there before, you can’t find it!!! After circling the block several times, guests quickly realized there is no sign for The Apothecary 330. That’s because this unique cocktail club is known only by word of mouth. Once inside, your eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness and you immediately felt transported into the “Gatsby” era.
3/7/19 RAC Business Mixer at Etaru Celebrating International Women’s Day
On March 8th women around the world celebrated International Women’s Day in recognition of the tremendous social, political and economic achievements women have made. Through history, women have been empowered to be better, achieve more, climb ladders and break glass ceilings. The courage, determination and strength of women has led them to a time they can be proud of. Whether they are a daughter, a sister, a wife, or a mother, women understand how important it is to set the right example for the next generation of women to reach new levels of success in business and family. In honor of this widely celebrated holiday, RAC members and friends gathered for a business networking event on the 3rd floor rooftop terrace.
02/21/19 RAC Share The Love Business Mixer at Novecento Aventura
February was the perfect month for sharing the love by connecting like-minded, entrepreneurial, business professionals and making new connections. Owners and managers of local, South Florida businesses came together for another amazing RAC Business Mixer to make long lasting relationships to further the growth of their businesses. It was an amazing night with amazing people but what truly made it complete was Novecento, an elegant bistro with incredibly, delicious food and tantalizing drinks. Located in Aventura, Novecento is a favorite among many locals who frequent the restaurant for their Argentine, Mediterranean and Pan Latin cuisines heightened by French techniques. AN AMAZING START TO 2019!! Despite the heavy rain and horrendous traffic, over 100 of our dearest members and friends joined us for First RAC Business Mixer of the year hosted by Farrey’s Lighting + Bath. Guests visiting Farrey’s for the first time were astonished by their exquisitely, elegant and jaw-dropping showroom. It’s as if you stepped into a fairytale full of crystals. What better way to kick off the new year, than with a little sparkle! Not only is Farrey's the perfect place to shop for lighting and bath, but this family owned and operated store made each of the guests feel the warmth of their hospitality.

12/05/18 RAC Lexus Holiday Gala in Lexus of North Miami
​On December 5th, the place to be was the Lexus Holiday Gala in North Miami, Florida! Stunningly beautiful women in designer evening gowns and handsome gentlemen in stylish suits and tuxedos celebrated the holidays in style at the event of the season! The Lexus International Food & Wine Holiday Gala co-hosted by Lexus of North Miami and Lexus of Pembroke Pines will be talked about for a long time to come! Just like in prior years, the tradition continued and our dear members and friends lined up for their chance to strike a pose on the red carpet with the paparazzi and enjoyed exquisite international food, wine, cognac, scotch and of course, the display of luxurious Lexus vehicles.

GREAT NIGHT AMONG GREAT FRIENDS!!! Members of Russian Connections and Russian-Speaking American Chamber of South Florida “RAC”, gathered to mix and mingle, socialize, enjoy good food and wine, check out one of the newest locations of Mount Sinai Medical Center and to unwind, relax and have a little fun with friends. Mount Sinai Primary & Specialty Care Skylake is a new, state of the art medical facility, conveniently located in Skylake to serve the needs of the growing community.
10/20/18 RAC Halloween Carnival at Dezerland Park in North Miami, Florida
SPOOK-TAC-ULAR FUN at the RAC Halloween Carnival hosted by Dezerland Park. If pictures say a thousand words... than these are proof that the RAC Halloween Carnival was a blast!! Parents joined in the fun and had to battle the kids to get a spot in the arcade. This special community event featured games in the enormous arcade, carnival games, prizes, balloon artist, DJ dance party, trick or treating and so much more! Some of the favorites included air hockey, bowling, the limbo contest and of course, the Miami Dade Fire Truck parked outside our event with our local fire fighters greeting the kids. Guests could not stop raving about how INCREDIBLE Dezerland Park was.
